STEVE SMITH
Minister of Music and Worship
HOLLY SMITH
Director of Children’s Musi

BUMC extends our love and appreciation to Steve and Holly Smith for their extraordinary service and devotion for the past eight years. Next Sunday Steve will assume his new position as Pastor of Music and Worship at Brookwood Church in Greenville, South Carolina. Holly has developed our Children’s Music Program from a group of a few children to over 150 young voices. She will continue through the “Life School Musical” on March 30.

The exceptional Praise and Worship service that inspires our congregation every week is highly regarded in our community and throughout the Southeast. It is a tribute to Steve’s world-class professional skills as a musician and director, his deep spiritual commitment to the Church, and his passion for ministering to others’ spiritual needs. He has developed a choir of eight persons into a powerful group of worship leaders.

We wish Steve, Holly, and their daughters, Madeline (Maddie) and Emma, all the best in their new church home. We will always remember and cherish their special gifts and invaluable contribution to Birmingham United Methodist Church.
