PRAYER VIGIL
We invite everyone at BUMC to join in the prayer vigil that takes place during Holy Week. We will start at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and continue through 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday - just as Christ invited His disciples to the Garden to "watch and pray" during His time of need. We are still to enter into that spiritually watchful and prayerful place during this special time in living out our faith along with Jesus, our greatest intercessor. There are two places to sign up - in the Narthex and next to the church office - and many spaces to fill. This is a wonderful time to grow in spiritual maturity and intimacy with our Heavenly Father who through His Son leads us to the life of abundance.

Matthew 26: 36-46
We see Jesus rely on prayer to sustain Him during the time of His greatest act of Mercy. How much more will prayer sustain you during your time of need? When are some times you have prayed and God has faithfully answered through His presence, wisdom, and encouragement to stay the path no matter how difficult? What was the result of your obedience?

DAVE RAMSEY
Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is coming to BUMC this fall. But there's no need to wait. Take control of your financial future today! Read Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover" or check out Dave's website, www.daveramsey.com. He shares practical wisdom on how to dump debt, boost savings, and take control of your life. For a preview of the freedom you can experience through taking control of your finances, listen to Dave Ramsey on AM640, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. daily.
