ALTAR FLOWERS
The flowers on the altar are given today by King’s Ridge
Christian School in Alpharetta in appreciation for the use of our
Sanctuary for their 2008 Baccalaureate service on May 16.
The rose on the altar is for Graham Michael Morrow, born on April
28, to parents Shelli and Mike Morrow. The proud grandparents are

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – BEACH PARTY
Summer Fun for Kids! REGISTER NOW!
Sign children up today for an exciting week of fun and learning at
VBS. With a Beach Party theme, we will be surfing through the
scriptures June 23 - 27 with a closing celebration on June 29.

CAMP GLISSON
“It's All Good” is the theme for the Day Camp co-sponsored by Camp
Glisson and BUMC right here on our own campus June 9 - 13 from 9:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m.! First through fifth graders will not want to miss
this week of fun including a day trip to Dahlonega and Camp

TEA FOR JUDY WOLFE TODAY
Ladies, please join us for a tea honoring Judy Wolfe this afternoon

NEW CONNECTIONS CLASS STARTS TODAY!
This class is for all members of BUMC who have missed taking the
class and for those preparing to join. Discover opportunities for
involvement and service during this 4-session class that will be
held at 11:00 a.m. on May 18, May 25, June 1, and June 8. Byron
Foster and Stan Purvis will lead the class in Room E221 in the
Education Building.

OTHER VOLUNTEER HELP
Volunteers are needed to pick up pastries and
bread donated by the Birmingham Road Publix and deliver them to the
North Fulton Community Charities Food Pantry located in Roswell. If
you can help one or two Fridays a month, please contact Mary Mueller

BUMC SINGLES LUNCH - TODAY

BUMC MISSION CORNER MISSION OPPORTUNITY:
▪ SERV Mexico 07/25/08 - 08/02/08: This is a BUMC sponsored mission
trip to Mexico to build bunk beds for an orphanage and teach
Vacation Bible School at night. The cost of the trip will be around
$600 (depending on transportation). If you are interested in this
mission, or if you have any local ministries you would like BUMC to

Bruce and Susan Smitherman and their family thank you for all

people to Bruce’s critical need
for blood. Their hearts are overflowing with gratitude. His blood
requirements are filled at present, however, if anyone would like to
