BUMC ANNUAL FALL FELLOWSHIP & CAMPOUT
ON OCTOBER 11-12
Make this unique fellowship on our beautiful Sanctuary Land part
of you autumn traditions. Saturday evening is for everyone; bring
your side dish and enjoy dinner at candle-lit tables followed by
stories, music, and a special worship message. After a hayride under
the full moon to the Cross for prayer, we’ll return to the campfire
for smores! Optional overnight camping is available. For information

40 DAYS OF TRANSFORMATION COMING THIS MONTH

We have begun forming small groups for The upcoming church-wide
event, 40 Days of Transformation. This is a 40-day study focusing on
“Treasures of the Transformed Life: Satisfying Your Soul’s Thirst
for More.” If you are not in a group and/or would like to lead a

This group will serve in the community, share and learn together
through speakers and books, and enjoy each other as Sisters in
Christ! The Circle meets the second Tuesday of each month (September

THE AMAZING COLLECTION
This is a Bible study for women that teaches the Bible sequentially
in an understandable, relevant and exciting way so people can learn
for life from every book of God’s Word. Please join us on Tuesdays
at 10:00 a.m. in the first grade Sunday School room as we begin our
study of Genesis. This weekly Bible Study is open to all women of

If you’ve ever been interested in trying a Beth Moore Bible study,

MISSION CORNER
~ On October 10-19, a tent mission team will be going to Monterrey
to work in partnership with the church at Pan de Vida in a new
location outside of Monterrey. This will be a medical/dental
evangelism team that will serve a community similar to Santa Rosa.

Please think of these children while you are shopping this month. If
purchasing an entire costume is too costly, consider joining forces
with others or select smaller items. Please contribute and leave

WHAT IS YOUR STORY?
Our congregation has been asked to write a monthly devotional
booklet for the children at Murphy-Harpst. There are incredible
stories of hope, faith and love among our members that would fill an
entire book. What we are looking for are "Chicken Soup For The Soul"
type Stories - one to two pages long with a reference Scripture and
typed as a Word document. We want your story and plan to publish
before Christmas. Watch for a bulletin insert within in the next few

HOW DO I JOIN BUMC?
Complete and submit a membership form available on the BUMC web site
or contact the church office for a hard copy. All new members must
be baptized prior to joining the church. If you have not been
baptized, please contact the office to schedule a baptism. You may
be baptized on the day you join. Contact Mary Mueller at
770.815.4980 to schedule the date and time you wish to join. New
members may join any Sunday, at either service. Membership Sundays
are scheduled on the fourth Sunday of each month for those who wish
to join in a group setting. The next dates are October 26, and
November 23.
