SISTERS OF ONE HEART
The next meeting of Sisters will be Tuesday, October 21, at 7:00
p.m. at the Broadwell Cottage, 765 Mid Broadwell Road, Milton,
Georgia 30004 (grey historic house with red shutters). The book we
will be reading and discussing is “Too Busy Not To Pray” by Bill
Hybels. In your quiet time please read from Acts 4:23-31. Meditate
on the following questions:
▪ As John and Peter prayed about obstacles, where was the focus of
their prayers?
▪ How did their behavior express their confidence in God’s
sufficiency and power?
▪ How do God’s past actions encourage you to pray with boldness?
▪ When have you been filled with boldness in the face of obstacle
solely as a result of prayer?
▪ What problem particularly tempts you to concentrate on it rather
than on God?
▪ What would it mean for you to pray focused on God instead of your
problems?
